What is the difference between quick launch in vista and the new capability to pin icons in win 7?

Q. I dont see a difference between quick launch in vista and the capability to pin icons in win 7? Whats the difference in the two?

A. The new Windows 7 taskbar is like a doc. You can drag and drop any desktop icon in the taskbar and it becomes very easy to access just with one click.

Q. Dell inspiron 535s is not a compatible desktop to Win 7, what need be done so that I can use a genuine Win 7.... do I need to buy a separate hard drive.... please give me the instructions; for that matter for PC's or desktop that are not compatible with win 7.

How to connect win xp home to win 7 pro?

Q. I am having problems tring to connect my xp home computer to my win 7 pro. They are both on the same workgroup. They see each other and folders. But I am unable to connect with Windows easy transfer or the remote desktop connection.
It acts as if they are on seperate networks. How do I connect the two?

A. Networking helps but that just says that you can network between them.
